School Food Summit

Known as the Renegade Lunch Lady, Chef Ann Cooper is an author, chef, educator and enduring advocate for better food for all children. She’s keynoting the first regional School Food Summit: Celebrating Our Children, Food and Future, sponsored by Rondout Valley Growers Association, From the Ground Up, Slow Food Hudson Valley, Ulster Corps, Marbletown PTF and the Chefs Consortium.

 

Free and open to the public, the event features national experts, parents, students and community members exploring ways to serve more fresh, locally-grown food in school meals. Click here for the conference agenda.
